“I fell down some stairs at my office and tore my quad tendon. For weeks, I couldn’t bend my leg at all. After surgery, Therapy South helped me progress from no mobility in my leg to full range of motion in about ten weeks! I spend a lot of time working in youth sports, and not being able to be at practices while I was out of commission was difficult. With football season around the corner, I was worried that I would be unable to help coach my son’s team. Therapy South did a great job of getting me back to normal and helping me get back on the field! Everyone I worked with was very kind and easy to work with. They push you because they want you to get better, but it’s always in a loving way.”

“I broke my right shoulder last April and was referred to TherapySouth for therapy on my shoulder. On July 4th, I fell and broke my left wrist. A few weeks after surgery, they began therapy on my wrist also. They were very diligent in making sure I got all the range of motion back in my shoulder and worked my wrist to strengthen it. I was released at the end of October with my arm and wrist back to normal. In January, I was having sciatic nerve pain in my right hip and leg, and again I sought therapy from TherapySouth. They worked on stretching and strengthening my hip and leg, and within a month the pain was gone and I could walk and stand normally again. I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with all of the therapists at TherapySouth. They were always working to get me back to normal and pain free. They became like family and I am very grateful for all they did for me.”

Dry Needling Services

Trigger points, often a component of myofascial pain syndrome, are irritable, hard “knots” within a muscle that may cause pain over a large area. A potential treatment option is dry needling, which consists of a very thin needle that your therapist pushes through the skin to stimulate the trigger points, muscles, or connecting tissues.
