Stephen Owenby, PT, DPT

Stephen Owenby earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee in 2012 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2016. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, a Certified Dry Needling Practitioner, and a Certified Blood Flow Restriction Therapist. Stephen has practiced outpatient physical therapy since 2016.

His clinical interests include sports medicine and post-operative rehabilitation, shoulder rehabilitation, running evaluations, and multi-approach manual therapy.

Stephen is glad to call Birmingham home after stops in Memphis, Knoxville, and Kingsport, Tennessee. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Betsy, and their son, Walter. He has a passion for developing leaders both spiritually and professionally. His ideal weekend consists of going down to Lake Martin, cheering on the Vols, or playing golf.
