Sandy is a Partner and Clinic Director with extensive experience in both acute care and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from North Carolina State University in 1990 and her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992. Sandy is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and holds certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, and workers’ compensation health care.
Sandy’s clinical background includes acute care physical therapy from 1993 to 2004 and outpatient orthopedic care since 2004. Her professional interests include manual therapy, lumbar and cervical spine rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
Outside the clinic, Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband, Alan, their two sons, Steven and Andrew, and their dog, Sam. She is an active member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church, where she participates in Sunday school and the special needs ministry. In her free time, Sandy enjoys cycling, running, hiking, and being outdoors with her family.
