Ruth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Meredith College in 1987 and her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 1989. She has over 20 years of orthopedic experience in outpatient physical therapy and is a Certified Dry Needling Practitioner, as well as trained in Ola Grimsby Manual Therapy.
Her clinical interests include manual therapy, pelvic pain and dysfunction, women’s health, and sports rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Ruth enjoys tennis, skiing, and playing the piano. She and her husband, Scott, have four children, and she is an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Alabaster. She also enjoys watching wrestling, soccer, and dance.
