Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Auburn University in 2008 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011. He has been practicing as an outpatient physical therapist since 2012 and also has experience in inpatient rehabilitation. Robert is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, a Certified Workers’ Compensation Healthcare Provider, a Certified Manual Therapist, LSVT BIG certified, and a Certified Dry Needling Practitioner. His clinical interests include manual therapy, sports and running injuries, and the treatment of back and neck pain.
Robert became interested in physical therapy after injuring his back as a teenager and experiencing physical therapy himself. During that time, God placed a special interest on his heart for helping others overcome their own limitations so they can return to doing what they love.
Outside of the clinic, Robert and his wife, Laurie, have three children and attend First Baptist Church of Opelika. He enjoys soccer, basketball, spending time outdoors, and playing with their dog, Charlie.
