Nicole Payment, SHRM-CP

Nicole is a graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. She brings over 10 years of experience in the HR field, including four years specifically in healthcare prior to joining TherapySouth.

At TherapySouth, Nicole manages the Human Resources Department. Her responsibilities include employee relations, benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and new hire onboarding. She also oversees company-wide recruiting and leads initiatives in learning and development.

Nicole is passionate about supporting employees and believes that by helping with non-clinical tasks, she plays a key role in enabling therapists to focus fully on patient care. As she puts it: “In supporting our employees and helping with non-PT tasks, I feel like I can indirectly help our patients by allowing our employees to focus on treating.”

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Matt, and their twins, Charlie and Lucy. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and interior design.
