Kristen Rather earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Mobile and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Alabama State University. She is certified in dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and pelvic floor physical therapy. Her clinical approach is rooted in helping patients restore confidence, independence, and strength through purposeful movement.
Kristen chose physical therapy because it perfectly blends her passion for helping people with her love for being active. As a runner herself, she has experienced firsthand how empowering it can be to feel strong in your body, both physically and mentally. She is driven by the belief that movement can transform how people live their lives, whether that means returning to everyday activities or pushing toward personal goals.
Outside of the clinic, Kristen enjoys running, working out, spending time at the beach, and keeping up with a packed schedule of her kids’ activities.
