Why I became an occupational therapist:
I became an OT because I love to help people. Whether it be helping someone strengthen their hand so they can perform their woodworking hobby, learning ways to get themselves dressed while maintaining their total hip precautions, or helping someone gain confidence in their skills to return to work as a seamstress. To me, there is no greater profession than one that allows you to serve others, and I will never grow tired of seeing my clients achieve their goals.
