Jordan Shelby, PT, DPT

Staff Physical Therapist

Jordan Shelby earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Huntingdon College, where he was a member of the football team, and is a graduate of Fairhope High School (2013).

Jordan is a Certified Functional Dry Needling Practitioner. His clinical interests include sports rehabilitation and injury prevention, vestibular and balance disorders, and the treatment of neck and shoulder pain.

Outside the clinic, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, cooking, working out, playing basketball, and watching football.

“I became a physical therapist to help people treat their pain or dysfunction with a collaborative and holistic approach—to give people the tools and the encouragement they need to feel better, without being bound to a diagnosis. I believe in TherapySouth’s Core Values, and I am blessed to be able to work with an organization that is grounded in faith and in evidence-based practice.”
