Chief Financial Officer

Johnny Cupp is Chief Financial Officer of TherapySouth. Cupp has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. He oversees Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Accounting, Real Estate, Corporate Financial Strategy, Treasury, and other corporate functions.

Cupp’s portfolio also includes executing the startup of new clinics and assisting the Chief Executive Officer in setting enterprise goals and developing the senior leadership team.

Cupp, has extensive operational and financial experience. He was named Chief Financial Officer in 2017 after serving as Accounting Manager for the organization. In that role, he served as the company’s head of accounting.

Prior to that, he was a Forecasting and Derivatives Analyst at Energen, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. Before that, he worked with Deloitte, one of the “Big Four” accounting organizations and the largest professional services network in the world.

He was a finalist for the 2019 Birmingham Business Journal CFO Awards (Mid-Sized Company).

Cupp is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting. He resides in Vestavia with his wife, Haley, and their three children Jane Reable, Kenneth, and Anne Robbins.
