Jacob Gates, PT, DPT

Partner/Clinic Director

Jacob Gates earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Samford University before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Southwest Baptist University. He is a Level 2 Functional Dry Needling Practitioner, certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training, and currently serves as a Physical Therapist in the U.S. Army Reserves with the rank of Major.

Jacob values physical therapy for its focus on improving real-life function. His approach centers on identifying and addressing the root cause of a problem rather than just managing symptoms. He especially enjoys building meaningful relationships within his community and believes those connections are a key part of helping patients achieve lasting results.

Outside of the clinic, Jacob enjoys golf, tennis, hunting, hiking, and coaching his kids in sports. He is married to his wife, Lauren, who is also a physical therapist, and they have three boys. Jacob is an active member of Glory Baptist Church, the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).
