Ethan Kicker, PT, DPT

Ethan is originally from Montgomery, AL, but he has been living in the Greater Birmingham area for over 10 years. He grew up playing both baseball and football through high school and then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Health Care Management in 2017 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2020. Following his graduation, Ethan started working at TherapySouth. His areas of interest include treating non-operative shoulder and hip conditions, knee osteoarthritis, and sports-related injuries. He is also interested in blood flow restriction exercise, nutrition, and functional dry needling. Ethan aims to use hands-on physical therapy, exercise, and education to empower patients to achieve their full potential, allowing them to have a positive impact on those around them, both in the community and the world.

Ethan and his wife Emily were married in 2017 and now live in Alabaster. They have 2 kids, Shepherd and Everly, and 2 dogs, Baylor and Lucy. They are active members of Riverchase Church of Christ through mentoring teens in the youth group, mission work, and other opportunities. Ethan enjoys being outside and maintaining an active lifestyle through lifting weights, running, pickleball, hiking, and watersports.
