Emily McLean, PT, DPT

Staff Physical Therapist

Emily earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercer University in 2023 after completing her B.S. in Exercise Science at Auburn University in 2020. She is certified in Functional Dry Needling (Level 1) and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Emily is passionate about helping patients move forward—whether recovering from surgery, managing pain, or regaining daily independence.

She grew up in Mountain Brook and is grateful for the opportunity to give back by serving her local community. In her free time, Emily enjoys hanging out with her dog, Apollo, traveling with her husband, Will, spending time at the lake with family and friends, and going to Auburn football games.

“I was first drawn to physical therapy after experiencing it firsthand following a high school injury. As I began shadowing, I quickly saw the meaningful impact PT can have on people’s lives. While working as a PT tech in college, I met a patient who initially struggled to walk, stand, or drive. Months later, I saw him at the grocery store—he had driven himself and was once again enjoying life. That moment affirmed why I chose PT: to help people regain their independence and return to the activities they love.”
