Carol Mastroianni, PT, DPT

Staff Physical Therapist

Carol received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Auburn University in 2012, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015. She is a Level 3 Functional Dry Needling Practitioner and is passionate about helping her patients reclaim strength and movement in their daily lives.

Carol enjoys working closely with patients to restore function and confidence through personalized care. She brings energy and empathy to the clinic, and values building strong, lasting relationships with the people she treats.

Outside the clinic, Carol stays active through exercise and personal training at Burn Boot Camp. She and her husband Jake have three sons, Owen, Noah, and Levi, and are active members of Riverchase Church of Christ.

“Physical therapy allows me to combine my passion for movement and science with a meaningful, hands-on role in helping others. I love that I can have an active part in restoring strength, function, and confidence, as well as building lasting relationships with every patient. Seeing patients reach functional and meaningful goals brings unmeasurable joy to my day and it’s fun to celebrate these wins with patients daily as they take control over their pain.”
