Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Exercise Science from Jacksonville State University in 2016 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021. She continued her education and became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 2026. She enjoys treating a variety of conditions including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and balance training.
One of Alyssa’s favorite treatment philosophies is “we start where we are at.” It is never too late to learn something new, practice something different, and invest in yourself.
When she is not in clinic, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, cat, and dog. In her free time, you’ll likely find her hiking, swimming, or at the gym working out.
