Abbey Wingate, PTA

Abbey earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Auburn University in 2012 and an Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2016. She has been certified in Level I and II IASTM since 2017 and has experience in both outpatient and acute care rehabilitation since 2016.

Her clinical interests include manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization for neck pain, as well as postoperative rehabilitation following joint replacement.

Outside the clinic, Abbey is a member of Christ Fellowship Church and enjoys golf, running, spending time outdoors, and being with her dog, Scout.

“I love working in outpatient physical therapy because it allows me to meet new people every day. I enjoy educating patients on their diagnoses and helping them return to the activities they are passionate about. I also appreciate that physical therapy is an evolving field where we are constantly learning new ways to better care for our patients.”
