Lisa Gowins earned her Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Gadsden State Community College in 1983. She is a Certified HawkGrips Practitioner and has worked as a physical therapist assistant in outpatient settings since 2012, with additional experience in home health for 21 years and inpatient/acute care for 8 years.
Her clinical interests include balance and vestibular interventions as well as post-surgical orthopedics. Lisa has a passion for helping people and finds fulfillment in providing personalized care to her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Lisa is married and has three adult children. She is an active member of the Church of the Highlands, serving as a small group leader and on the Women’s Lead Team.
