Mackenzie Gooch, PT, DPT

Mackenzie Gooch is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and pediatric care. She earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science from the University of South Alabama and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019. Mackenzie is also certified in Level 1 Dry Needling through the Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) program. Since beginning her career in 2019, she has focused on helping patients regain function and improve quality of life through personalized care.

Mackenzie’s passion for physical therapy grew while assisting her parents on the mission field in Kenya, where she witnessed a five-year-old boy walk for the first time after learning to ambulate with a malformed tibia. She enjoys spending time raising her children, singing throughout the day, and debating favorite reality TV shows.
