“I can’t say enough about the care I have received at TherapySouth! Over the years I’ve been sent to many PT offices, and the care I received at TherapySouth by far exceeded what I expected. Kay, you are so friendly and professional, and I appreciate the fact that you go out of your way to accommodate my schedule. I always feel like I’m visiting a friend when I show up for appointments. And Josh, you have healed my IT band, my SI joint, rehabbed my shoulder and my ankle after surgery! The results of my therapy were phenomenal, and a direct result of your expertise. I would also be remiss if I did not mention Halley, who is the most compassionate and capable assistant I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Because of the special group of people at TherapySouth, I actually enjoyed going to therapy sessions, and I think that had everything to do with my speedy recoveries!”
“After being treated by the therapist at TherapySouth, I found all the staff to by professional, polite and always helpful. For several year now, I have exercised there, usually three times a week. The staff is always glad to offer suggestions of how I could improve my routine and address any physical problem I may be experiencing. The atmosphere is always cheerful and upbeat The facility is always neat clean and well cared for. Since I must exercise, I can think of no better place to do this. I look forward to continuing to utilize the staff and facility.”
“Thank you all for working so well with me and helping me to get stronger. You are a fun team and you make exercising fun and successful!”

“Over the past few years, I have had the need for therapy for a number of physical issues; mainly hip and forearm problems. After my first experience with Cathie Bonner and her staff, I have requested TherapySouth when doctors have directed me to other facilities. The treatment, concern, and attention I have received have always exceeded expectations, especially in the healthcare environment we find ourselves in today.”
“I really appreciate the staff at TherapySouth. They have helped me with back and hip problems. They are very attentive to their patients. I always leave there feelings better than when I walk in. They are all friendly and caring and I am confident that they know their jobs well. I am about to have hip surgery and I will definitely be using them for therapy afterward.”
“Thank you for putting up with me for so long, but more important, thanks for helping me to get better! You all are such a sweet and caring group of people. Thanks again! With Love.”

“The therapists at TherapySouth have helped me in many ways- not just in getting my shoulder to work better. They are caring and also show concern for not just me, but my family, too. I am always excited about my sessions. I have been through so much with my chemotherapy, and I always feel great when I leave.”
“I’ve been a patient at TherapySouth for over a month. I love it. The staff is wonderful. I had therapy at another place in Birmingham and TherapySouth is so much better. My therapist Brittney is amazing. She works with you one on one to ensure you’re doing things correctly and to ensure you have a speedy recovery. I would recommend TherapySouth to anyone who is looking for quality and compassionate service.”
Just wanted to say thank you for all you did for me. Each of you were very professional and good at your job. My goals were definitely reached because of your skills and care. Hope to see you in a casual manner someday…no therapy. God Bless.

“I am currently going to TherapySouth for physical therapy on my left leg. I severely injured my leg from a fall resulting in a crushed knee. After surgery and a stay at St. Vincent’s Birmingham. Hospital I started going to TherapySouth in Pell City. I have used this facility twice before for therapy, always having had excellent results. This time is no different. I have currently been going there for approximately four weeks. The progress I have made is ahead of schedule. The staff there is excellent. They are well trained and know what they are doing. In addition, the therapists are friendly and compassionate. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. Also, the office staff is friendly and helpful in arranging my appointments. I would recommend TherapySouth to anyone. I can’t imagine using any other facility.”
“My experience with TherapySouth has been the best. The staff is great. I’ve been to several places for therapy, much larger and more machines to work with and more staff. But it can’t beat the hands on personal care you get at TherapySouth. The staff goes beyond their job to get you well. They are #1 for me. You won’t find better service than TherapySouth.”
“I want to thank all of the staff at TherapySouth at Liberty Park for taking great care of me, my husband and daughter over the past year. The personal care and kindness that was shown is uncommon and greatly appreciated. From the minute I walked in the door my care began with a warm greeting from Kay, then on to the well equipped exercise room where Josh and/or Halley begin a personal assessment and treatment plan. I found the both of them to be very pleasant and encouraging. They listened to me and helped me understand what was not working properly and then carefully explained exercises that will over time remedy the problem. Josh and Halley kept my doctor informed about my progress before and after surgery and Kay was able to schedule appointments around my busy schedule. I am thankful that my shoulder and neck issues are well behind me but if I ever need a physical therapist again, I know exactly where I will go, TherapySouth at Liberty Park. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful experience so close to home!”
“TherapySouth has been a great environment to recover. With outstanding and knowledgeable therapists, I have regained a majority of the strength I had lost in my legs and ankles after severely breaking both ankles. Within one month of getting my casts off TherapySouth had me up and walking. This is a great place with a wonderful staff who will get you back to your old self quickly.”
“To Cathie, Leah, Sally, Lizzie, Barbara, and Matt,
I cannot thank each of you enough for all you have done for me, both pre- and post-surgery. You all have been the best. Thank you for all the kindness, patience, and wisdom you have shown. I have truly appreciated each of you.
It has been my privilege for the last six months to be treated regularly (2-3 times a week) at TherapySouth in Lee Branch. I cannot tell you how much the staff (Cathie, Barbara, Leah, and Matt) has meant to me. They are not only extremely professional and knowledgeable, but they sincerely care about each patient.
Beginning with Barbara when I made my first appointment, I sensed the warmth and friendliness of your whole team. They encouraged me to overcome my apprehensions (and there were many) and they pushed me beyond what I thought were my physical limitations.
Many times in medical establishments, the patient feels like they are looked at and treated like ‘a number’. From day one, I was treated as a person with dignity and utmost care and respect. My journey to recovery has been ‘my job’ over the last six months and, like a good work place, the environment has been both productive and fulfilling.
Thank you for creating such a welcoming, encouraging, and pleasant environment where physical and emotional healing can take place.”
“God didn’t guarantee us our parts, but thank goodness we have TherapySouth to put us back together again!!!
“Five years ago my oldest granddaughter was born. To my surprise, I found that I could not safely carry her up and down stairs. At age 54, I was not willing to concede victory to arthritic knees! My doctor prescribed a physical therapy regimen and that’s how I met the professionals at TherapySouth. There was no miracle; the arthritis did not disappear. However, because they allowed me to remain as a fitness patient and continue the therapy that they began, I am able to enjoy three grandchildren now, with a fourth on the way. We’ve even moved to a new home with a second floor; I have to go up and down stairs all the time! I can take walks or bicycle rides around the neighborhood.
I am so thankful for the caring staff at TherapySouth, who welcome me, encourage me, and have become friends. I try to work out 2-3 times a week, usually for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. I have found that by continuing to strengthen the muscles around my arthritic joints, I am able to keep moving. Recently my doctor found some arthritis in my neck… not a big surprise, and I’ve been helped once again by the personal touch of the therapists of TherapySouth. So I will have new exercises to add to my regular routine when I continue as a fitness patient. Because my life has been positively impacted by the staff and facilities of TherapySouth, I highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy. And I LOVE the folks at the Pell City office!”
“Thank you for your kindness on each of my visits. You all model care and concern for the customers. Keep up the good work and don’t lose your focus on the people. Thanks again.”

“Here is a huge shout out to Physical Therapy South and their staff, particularly Chris Allison. Last June I started PT with them at the recommendation of my doctor, Robert Sorrell. I had been diagnosed with a frozen shoulder, small tear in my rotator cuff, and bone spurs. Dr. Sorrell wanted me to get my shoulder loose before he would think about surgery to clean up the tear and and bone spurs. Apparently I developed the frozen shoulder over time because I was babying my injured shoulder and trying to lay off using it as much, not playing tennis, etc.
By the time I got to Chris for pt, my right shoulder was in intense and constant throbbing pain. It hurt to raise my arm to get a glass from the cabinet, brush my hair, turn the steering wheel – I was amazed at how quickly someone so active could go down and I didn’t like it one bit! The Physical Therapy was so painful at first that I had to take a pain pill just to get through it, and I didn’t like that either! Chris did a wonderful job of working my shoulder and explaining all that was happening with my shoulder to me so I could understand what was going on and how he was working to fix it. He showed me exercises for me to do on my own so I could progress on the days I wasn’t doing pt.
I think that was key to me being able to maintain my comfort after my pt ceased. By the end of August I was back playing tennis. Of course, I really stretch and warm up my shoulder every morning still – I don’t ever want to feel that pain again! I really appreciate the attention and education that was given to me and am happy to say that I feel as good as new and ended up not having to have shoulder surgery!”
“I got hurt playing football and injured my right shoulder. The doc sent me to PT two times before I came to TherapySouth. They just messed up my shoulder even more! So, I came to TherapySouth and they worked really well on my shoulder and right elbow. Alan Spooner is a really good PT, along with the other PT’s. I would highly recommend him to anybody.”
“Our Tallassee Alabama operation includes high volume light assembly work, heavy metal casting processes, as well as almost 200 exempt professional positions. For years, over 85 percent of our work related injuries were made up of cumulative trauma muscular skeletal type injuries and illnesses. As we soon approach our third anniversary with Therapy South, that percentage has dropped to less than 20 percent. Our total recordable injuries in recent years have in some cases declined up to 80 percent. I believe Therapy South has played a major part in changing the culture at Neptune to one where Safety and Wellness is a priority in everything that we do. Their program is one that stresses continual improvement, working every day to make our company a better place to work. I would recommend the Therapy South Early Intervention Program to any industry, regardless of product manufactured. To me, it was a financial ‘no-brainer’ … you have literally nothing to lose but injuries, pain, and suffering. No contract, no monthly subscription, no up-front fee. I could see a positive difference from the very first day Therapy South walked out on our production floor.”
